When oolong teas were first produced, the oxidation process was a lot longer than the lighter greener oolongs that tend to come out of China today. Once the dark, almost blue-green twisted leaves have been steeped the result is a champagne color cup with a pleasing almost buttery aroma. Traditional Ti Kuan Yin is a medium bodied oolong tea with slight dried fruit undertones and a lovely mouth-feel that will leave you feeling refreshed all day long.
